Top-Notch Renovations is a local, family-owned business.

When they met in 1997 at the market research firm where they both worked, Robert and Lana never dreamed they would one day own an award-winning renovation company. Back then, they were committed to their corporate careers; Robert was an IT guy and Lana was a project manager. But, as the dot com bubble began to decline, Robert started a handyman business and they flipped a few houses while Robert figured out what to do next. Unfortunately, they were left holding an expensive house in Northwest Hills when the market crashed in 2006.

Realizing there was a need for reputable renovation services in NW Austin and undeterred by the economy, they decided to stop buying the houses themselves, but to keep renovating them for other people. Hence, Top-Notch Renovations was born in 2007.

After several years of working out of their guest bedroom, they hired their first employee and moved into their first office space in 2010. Over the years, as their reputation grew, so did their business. Now, after over 12 years as professionals in the industry, they are more committed than ever to serving the Northwest Austin area as reliable, quality renovators. They’re proud that their company and brand have taken on a life that’s bigger than they are and have come to represent how remodeling should be done.

As the parents of three sons, Lana and Robert’s commitment to their NW Austin community extends beyond Top-Notch Renovations as they volunteer with RRISD schools, their local swim team and other organizations.

These core values are the driving principles of Top-Notch Renovations:

Integrity – Ethical – Honesty – Work-Life Balance – Accountability – Respect
